A look to the Lebanese protest : All in one

For the second day the Lebanese people are still protesting and are doing rallies in order to down  the current Seniora cabinet , Beirut Public squares are full of supporters from all opposition parties ,from all sects are there in Riyad El-Solah square ,in The Martyrs square

The Shiite sect presented with the supporters of Amal "Nabih Barry" and Hezbollah "Hassen Nasrallah"

The Christian sect presented with Michel Aoun and Soliman Franjiah

The Doruz sect presented by Prince Talaal Arsalan

And all other opposition members from the Pro-Syrian camp in Lebanon

Link to Al Jazeera English - Middle East "great English site for great English News channel"

All for one , for one aim to down El-Seniora cabinet and to a have a national unity government that presents all the sects in Lebanon

Lebanon now is on the edge , the Seniora refuses to leave by depending on the so-called international support foolishly ,the support as usual comes from the United States, the west and their allies in the middle east above them Saudi Arabia and official Egypt !!

It is strange because as I said before it is the same west which respected and supported the rallies and protests of the so-called the Ciders revolution and called the Rashid Karami and president Lahoud to step down on the request of those public rally ,so why there are double standards

Anyway G.W. Bush said an important remark today I don't know if he meant it or it was just another one of his honest unaccepted remarks when he described the protests as a civilian coup as I heard on Al-Jazeera ,I believe from that statement the American administration is scared despite all the powers it posses it can't stand against the street powers

What makes me so angry is the silly statements of the 14th of March leaders regarding the protestors , you know that I stood in this blog defending the Lebanese people in the cider revolution and how I admire their coverage and their struggle to take back their freedom and independence from the Syrian control , but now those leaders who were from one year taking the same streets and public squares are disrespecting and underestimating these protests and these people who are staying in the cold weather insisting of their demands

They shouldn't not be disrespected from beks like Walid Bek and Shekih Saad

For example

Marwan Hamada saying on TV

"They are mostly welcome to stay but we won't leave !!"

Saad El-Hariri on the American "El-Haraa" channel beside his usual talk about the tribunal of his late father

"No matter how long they stay in the street , this will not bring down the government "

Anyway I believe this protest is getting stronger and stronger and El-Seniora won't stay more in his office ,otherwise why in hell he kept calling from here and there presidents like Hosni Mubarak to interfere , whom by his turn called Nabih Barry in order to calm things down

I don't think that Iran and Syria control Lebanon as the United States right now , first of all I believe the existence of the Christian free Lebanese stream gives a creditability to the neutral of this opposition ,we all know that Michel Aoun was the winning card for the United States when he stood in the Congress in testifying against the Syrian regime condemning its control over Lebanon and I remember that the congress 's decision was the base in which 1559 came from , Aoun is a wise man as soon as Syria left and he returned back ,he began to think about the benefit and strength of his country and what makes me believe so is his idea of joining Hezbollah arms in to the Lebanese army to give it a strength

By the way there are new remarks I must hint to it today

I like the appearance of Aoun and the two Hezbollah's MPs behind him

On the right and on the left "courtesy of Al-Jazeera"

I like so much the Quotes public ad in the Manar TV "Hezbollah TV" , they were clever enough to choose quotes from the leaders of all the Lebanese sects across the history ,the first ones were those who were killed in the last couple of years of George Hawi and Rafik El-Hariri and all those leaders are thought to be assassinated by the Syrian regime like Omar Karami, Kamal Junbolt, Renee Mowad , all the Quotes chosen are about the Unity of Lebanon

Clever media campaign , not sect slogans, no other flag except the cider flag , no other anthem except "we are for the flag"

The opposition camp is sending a message saying to the whole world

We are a Lebanese 100% opposition ,we are not Syrian or Iranian supported opposition

Another thing I liked yesterday the Wise words of Michel Aoun about the Sunni Sect

You see some mostly the American administration supporters want Lebanon to be another Iraq ,to have another Sunni-Shiite with a little bit of Christian sect conflict again , you know the old British policy "Divide conquer" ,well it seems that some are spreading rumors in Lebanon especially in the powerful Sunni sect that this opposition is targeted against the Sunni ,Aoun made crystal clear that they are never against the Sunni sect ,they just don't want Fouad El-Seniora as prime minister , and instead they want Selim El-Hos

By the way I believe El-Hos is better than El-Seniora ,already today the Ambassador of the K.S.A made an interesting visit to him in his house

Anyway let's the days prove who is the stronger and who will stay in his place

  1. just a small note: saying that the whole gathering is a pro-syrian would make Aoun go crazy :D
one of the reasons Nasrallah admires Aoun is his opinions and beliefs that didn't change no matter what happenned...and don't forget that the FPM represented a very large portion of 14 March rally which called for Syria to get out...having them join the other party(March 8*)doesn't mean that they want syria back **
What you are seeing now is an opposition gathering against the cabinet as you said...

*note that only Future calls them March 8 now..the rest say Opposition "mo3arda"...
**even March 8 didn't ask Syria to get back...
